The Guide catalogs in this edition as Unique Wines, all those that have 93 or 94 points with which Obalo Reserva would have achieved this distinction, keeping the note it has obtained in recent years constant.\r\n\r\nObalo Reserva is the best rated wine from Bodegas Obalo and maintains its constant commitment to quality recognized by prescribers, both nationally and internationally, so that the prestigious American magazine, Wine Spectator has placed it among the three wines that it considers &#8220;highly recommended\u201d. With a score of 93 points, the publication highlighted the harmonious character of this wine, its &#8220;formidable structure&#8221; and &#8220;impressive concentration&#8221;.\r\n\r\nObalo Crianza 2014, with 92 points and five stars, the highest rating, in terms of quality\/price, is another of the Bodegas Obalo wines highlighted by the Pe\u00f1in Guide 2018 in such a way that it continues its upward progression and improves its rating by one point compared to the one obtained in the Pe\u00f1in Guide 2017.\r\n\r\nFor its part, the youngest wine from the winery, Obalo 2016, has obtained 89 points with four stars in the quality\/price ratio.\r\n\r\nBodegas Obalo is located in the heart of Sonsierra Rioja where it starts from the tradition of an area in which some of the best wines in the world have been produced for centuries and where it applies an innovative character. In this way, he obtains wines with a marked personality, modern wines derived from the tradition of the vineyard in combination with the youth of the winery, which represent a faithful reflection of
